The Bordeaux Value Selection is finalized!

491 wines ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 Yen and widely available in France were tasted by a jury of experts. 100 wines were selected.

Ripe and juicy with a solid base of supple tannins that give it appealing, food-friendly balance at the finish. Pure Merlot. Note: 90 Château Sainte Barbe: Lots of sweet berries, wrapped around quite a slug of soft tannins, making a statement. This is very well made, but the balance isn’t so food-friendly. A blend of 80 per cent merlot, 20 per cent cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold. Note: 90
