Merlot de Sainte Barbe :
Ripe and juicy with a solid base of supple tannins that give it appealing, food-friendly balance at the finish. Pure Merlot.

Château Sainte Barbe:
Lots of sweet berries, wrapped around quite a slug of soft tannins, making a statement.
This is very well made, but the balance isn’t so food-friendly. A blend of 80 per cent merlot, 20 per cent cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Drink or hold.
